Niger seeds come from the niger plant, which is a yellow flower that naturally grows in the Ethiopan Highlands and other parts of Africa. They are bursting with energy and wild birds absolutely love them. Because they are small, they are easily ingested by birds of all sizes. Niger seeds contain fat, protein, fibre, vitamins A and C, calcium and iron. They are a staple of many of our blends, but we also supply them as an individual supplementary food.
